  • Built and scaled accounting and finance operations at Invitae during rapid growth, strengthening close processes and internal controls in a public-company environment.

I bring discipline to the monthly close so leadership gets timely, accurate, and actionable financial information. I focus on ownership, repeatable processes, reconciliations, controls, and reporting consistency.

  • Reduced the monthly close timeline at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub SF from 20 days to 8 days while improving reporting accuracy and consistency.

  • Led the month-end close and audit process in a SOX-compliant environment at Myriad Women’s Health.

  • Implemented and optimized finance systems including Sage Intacct, Concur, and FloQast to improve close efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational scalability.

Executive Partnership & Strategic Decision Support

I partner with leadership to translate accounting and finance information into better business decisions. My experience includes supporting executives, Boards, leadership teams, fundraising, scenario modeling, and strategic planning.

  • Partnered with executive leadership at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub SF to provide financial insights, budget oversight, and decision support.

  • Served on the Executive Committee at PACT Pharma and reported accounting and finance updates to the Board of Directors.

  • Led finance and accounting through fundraising, scenario modeling, and executive decision-making at PACT Pharma.

Controls, Compliance & Public-Company Readiness

I help companies strengthen controls, prepare for audits, and operate with public-company discipline. I bring experience across SOX, IPO readiness, S-1 support, SEC reporting support, audit coordination, and internal controls.

  • Played a key role in IPO preparation and a $375M acquisition at Myriad Women’s Health.

  • Supported IPO readiness at Invitae, including S-1 disclosures, SEC reporting support for 10-K and 10-Q filings, and external audit coordination.

  • Prepared PACT Pharma for public-readiness, including S-1 support activities.

Systems, Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency

I use systems and process improvement to reduce manual work, improve visibility, and strengthen accounting operations. My approach is practical: better workflows, better controls, better data, and less operational friction.

  • Implemented a close management tool at Myriad Women’s Health and Invitae to streamline the close process and strengthen internal controls.

  • Implemented a new payroll system and pay practice at PACT Pharma to reduce error and compliance risks.

  • Centralized treasury and payment operations across multiple entities at CZI, reducing operational complexity and settlement volume.
